There we were, in Duncan, South Carolina, waiting patiently for word on our van: the Compliment. We managed to push her off the highway to safety after she stalled in the middle of the fast lane. Over a ton and a half, but you wouldn’t have known it the way she glided into the shell station at the bottom of the hill (where Russ was subsequently stung by a bee).
Thanks to everyone who came out to our Boston show. TT the Bear’s Place was a highly satisfactory experience for us.
We’re on the eve of a show back in Brooklyn at one of our favorite Park Slope spots…Union Hall. The last time we played there we had the benefit of sharing the stage with the Couriers, whom we really enjoyed. Tomorrow night should be no different as we share the stage with two kickass bands: Dappled Cities and Via Audio. We’re super-jazzed.
